Quick Release Coupling | QRC Dealers Bokaro Steel City
Quick Release Couplings (QRC), also referred to as Industrial Couplings, are essential devices designed for swift and effortless connection and disconnection of hydraulic and pneumatic lines. These couplings are available for both low-pressure air systems and high-pressure hydraulic applications.
Quick Release Couplings enable rapid attachment and detachment without the need for tools, making them highly efficient. They are available with or without non-return valves, which can be mechanically unlocked. The non-return valve feature allows for connection without bleeding hydraulic fluid when there is no pressure in the system.
All quick-release couplings share common features, consisting of two main components: a plug (male half) and a socket (female half). When properly connected, these components create a secure seal, effectively containing internal pressures and resisting tensile forces that could otherwise compromise the joint.
Installing Quick Release Couplings in a system significantly saves time. Unlike traditional threaded or flanged connections that require wrenches, QRCs are hand-operated and widely used in plumbing, heating, electrical, and fire suppression systems. Their versatility extends to various environments, including underwater drilling operations, spacecraft docking, and countless industrial applications. When equipped with self-sealing valves, QRCs automatically contain fluid within the line upon disconnection.
We specialize in supplying a wide range of Quick Release Couplings in various sizes, materials, and configurations, all readily available in stock.
